A unique and fun exhibition that invites you to explore the history of art through the lens of humor and creativity of Venezuelan cartoonist Jorge Torrealba, in this exhibition he embarks on an imaginative adventure with his loyal canine companion Donatello to recreate some of the most famous paintings of all time together with portraits of the most recognized artists in the world.

With a mixture of artistic skills and a humorous and exaggerated approach, his passion for caricatures works with the world of ancient, classical and modern art to give life to a set of works that invite you to enjoy and experience art in a fantastic way.

In each piece of the exhibition you will find a surprising twist, his dog has become the protagonist. Reinterpreting iconic scenes and replacing the main characters with the artist’s characteristic humor in each of his works.

 

You can get Donatello alongside Leonardo DaVinci’s Mona Lisa, sharing the last supper or even starring in Frida Kahlo’s “self-portrait with the dog”.

The aim of this exhibition is to make art history accessible and entertaining for all visitors and to convey the idea that art should not be intimidating or boring, but can be a joyous and laugh-filled experience.

The caricatures of the artist together with his pet in these classic works remind us of the important connection of the human being with animals, especially with your pet. An important and special member in every family. Reminding us how important it is to find fun and joy in all forms of artistic expression.

Fart is an invitation to immerse yourself in a wonderful journey through time and space, where the past meets the present in a mixture of colors and shapes that you will enjoy.
