Tambi\u00e9n Michael Bayley, presidente y consejero delegado de Royal Caribbean International, ha admitido que las islas privadas han experimentado una fuerte demanda.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><strong>Las empresas de cruceros tienen tres poderosas razones por las que los destinos privados gestionados por ellos mismos tengan tanta importancia.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><strong>En primer lugar los cruceros tienen un alto coste en combustible y por este motivo disponer de itinerarios cerca de estas islas en propiedad a solo una noche de navegaci\u00f3n supone un importante ahorro econ\u00f3mico.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><strong>El segundo motivo tambi\u00e9n es econ\u00f3mico. Comprar una isla privada supone que todo el gasto que puedan hacer los cruceristas se queda en dichos destinos, que ofrecen muchas oportunidades para gastar dinero. Al no depender de otros operadores de excursiones, permiten a las l\u00edneas de cruceros quedarse con m\u00e1s beneficios a nivel interno.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><strong>El tercer motivo es la creciente oposici\u00f3n de algunos destinos a los cruceros, bien porque consideran que se dispara la contaminaci\u00f3n o porque creen que los cruceristas masifican las ciudades.
