They are not elegant landscapes, comforting still lifes, or ambiguous abstractions that can never speak as do these starkly realistic and visceral images that provoke and maybe even inspire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">17 cuadros en un grupo de 30 est\u00e1n dedicados a lo ir\u00f3nico, el abuso man\u00edaco de la alta autoridad: la locura de la guerra. No son paisajes elegantes, bodegones reconfortantes o abstracciones ambiguas que nunca pueden hablar como lo hacen estas im\u00e1genes crudamente realistas y viscerales que provocan e incluso inspiran.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Artist: This solo exhibition is the work of legendary art director, Amil Gargano, who began the serious study of art at the age of 9 and continued through his post graduate education at the preeminent Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. That study began directly after his return from the Korean War, which became the catalyst for this exhibition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Quien es el artista: Esta exposici\u00f3n individual es obra del legendario director de arte, Amil Gargano, quien comenz\u00f3 el estudio serio del arte a la edad de 9 a\u00f1os y continu\u00f3 su educaci\u00f3n de posgrado en la preeminente Academia de Arte Cranbrook en Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Then spent the next 45 years appling his art to advertising that could use all the help it could get. In the past 18 years, he has devoted his time to what he has spent his early life preparing to do: painting.
